A very nice relaxing cruise by
A Traveler from St. Louis, MO
Sailing date: Aug 2010 Pros:
the destinations, as well as the different resturants having a decent amount of choices
Cons:
the amount of noise from below our cabin on the Rivera deck. At night, when folks are sleeping, it seemed like that 's when the dishes and laundry were being done as much noise that was being made.
We think the ship was fine, it was clean, and the for the most part nice, but would not select that area of the ship if provided the opportunity.
Ship Quality
Dining/Food
Stateroom Quality No real sound damping which allowed all the noise from the below to keep us up, and even sounded like someone was dumping eating utinsels down the pipes or something. The beds really needed to be changed out as they were quite used and uncomfortable.

A worst experience with Carnial. by
A Traveler from New Jersey.
Sailing date: Aug 2010 Pros:
Everything except room.
Cons:
Room.
I had a wrost experience with this 4 days canada cruise on carnival glory. I was assigned a oceanview room 1393 & 1395. There was lot of noise coming in the night below my room. My whole room would shake by water noise & engine noise. It was like you are on a coaster ride. I called guest service every night to do something about this noise. But they did not do anything. We could sleep for our entire cruise in the night. Carnival guest services people are the worst.
Dining/Food It was excellent.
Stateroom Quality It was excellent. Except the noise in my room.

Our first fabulous cruise by
A Traveler from Hampton, VA
Sailing date: May 2010 Pros:
The cruise ship was beautiful. The room with the balcony was wonderful. The food was great, being able to eat whenever and wherever we like was relaxing. The room attendant was very polite and helpful. He made us feel very special.
Cons:
The least thing we liked was having to leave. My wife cried at the final dinner.
We highly recommand the cruise ship to any and all. We plan to book our daughter the same cruise in October for her honeymoon. We had the most relaxing and enjoyable time of our life. Anyone who don't experience this cruise or any cruise by Carnival is really missing out on a lot. Take the family or just a friend. You can even go by yourself, because there is so much to do and you will meet other people.

Sailing date: Jun 2010 Pros:
The bars and the food

The weather to canada was terrible, windy and cold.
The ship was very clean and nice. The staff were friendly. The shows at night were not that great. The steak restaurant was one of the best meals I've ever had!

Saint John, New Brunswick The reversing falls was a complete disappointment. Totally misleading. The Pink bus tour was also not great and too expensive for what you got.

Fabulous Upgrades! by
A Traveler from Saint Paul, MN
Sailing date: May 2010 Pros:
deck set up, huge tv on deck, staff and food
The staff was amazing-always very helpful and so friendly. The upgrades of the boat such as the deck pool set up and the large deck television was great. ALWAYS something to do or a show to watch. The comedians were great and went to see them 4 different nights. Everything was always clean and tidy.
I would recommend this cruise to anyone!
Ship Quality
Dining/Food The dinner food was great-tried something new each night. Very impressed!
Stateroom Quality I say excellent because it was always clean. The rooms are modest but have all the necessary items. We were never in ours rooms except to change and sleep.
Ship Staff Quality PHENOMENAL staff. This is the third cruise I've done with Carnival and I have always been impressed with their staff

I'm ready to go again. by
A Traveler from Whitesburg, GA
Sailing date: May 2010 Pros:
The balcony for our stateroom.
Cons:
Embarkation and mostly, Debarkation
This was the first cruise with Carnival. We had always cruised with Royal Caribbean before and I guess we had some strange reservations about cruising with Carnival prior to this cruise. But I think the ship was beautiful and clean. The staff was courteous, the food was excellent and we enjoyed this cruise probably better than any other we had ever been on.
Ship Quality I thought the ship was great overall. I liked the fact that the aft pool was quiet.
Dining/Food The food was excellent. I tried many new things at dinner and except for the raw fish I accidently ordered, everything else was a keeper!
Stateroom Quality Our stateroom was aft below the buffet area and above the dining rooms so it was really convenient.
Ship Staff Quality Guest Services was almost impossible to reach by phone.
Entertainment & Activities We didn't attend many of the shows as we were enjoying our balcony in the evening to relax after dinner, read and watch the sunset.
Collapse List of Ports
Belize City, Belize We did the cave tubing tour through an off ship company. It was great and we enjoyed the day.
Cozumel, Mexico We went to the shops so we didn't see much of the port. I guess we need to go back to see some of the other areas before giving a yea or nay.
Don't Miss: Can' t say. Shopping was okay.
George Town, Grand Cayman Went to 7-mile beach and had a great day in the sun and surf. Probably would skip the actual "tour" next time and take a cab instead, but the beach itself was great.
Don't Miss: Shopping is good and the beach is great.
Roatan (Isla Roatan), Bay Islands, Honduras Couldn't believe the beautiful beaches on the West end of the island. Went snorkeling over a reef and sunken ship and then ate lunch an a lush resort. Felt like we were in paradise.
Don't Miss: The West end beaches.

A fantastic cruise! by
A Traveler from Mason City, IA
Sailing date: Mar 2010 Pros:
The service aboard the ship was terrific!
Cons:
The decor was a bit outdated
We had a really great time aboard the Carnival Glory. The staff was very friendly and always had a smile for you. The housekeeping was impeccable. Every time you entered your cabin, the bathroom had been cleaned and the room tidied. No matter where you were on the ship, someone was cleaning, picking up dishes, washing windows, sweeping...but still always had time to stop and wish you a wonderful day!
We had a great time watching the different shows. We were entertained by dancers, jugglers, comedians, and an illusionist. All were very talented and kept us laughing.
The ports of call were beautiful, with lots to keep us busy. We took several excursions and were welcomed and entertained by our guides, who were anxious to give the best tour they possibly could.
One of my favorite places on board was the spa. It offered many conveniences, from massages to detox wraps to pedicures and manicures. It had a whirlpool and 2 steam rooms plus a state of the art gym with many weight machines, stair-steppers, ellipicals and treadmills. Personal trainers were available and gave seminars also.
We highly enjoyed our cruise and wouldn't think twice about sailing with Carnival.
Ship Quality The decor was a bit garish for my taste, but in excellent condition and very clean.
Dining/Food Food was excellent, wait staff was great!!! Dinner was lots of fun.

Entertainment & Activities Great activities! Totally enjoyed the comedians, however, I thought the PG rated shows were actually better than the adult versions.
Children's Programs My 18 year old daughter claims there was lots to do if you were under 17 or over 21, but the 18-20 year old kind of were left out.
