I have been on many cruises. I loved my experience on Carnival. U had exceptional food, and service. Our cabin was kept immaculately clean each and every time we left. The staff was respectful and polite. Thanks...I will definitely do it again...

Lack of no where to slow dance with my husband!!
I loved the ship.Very clean and if a spill or paper was dropped someone cleaned it up. First time to cruise and the ship was FUN FUN FUN great name for it. Staff was friendly the ones in white were not as nice as I thougth they should be but they must have had other things on their minds. The food was great! The ship has the correct name. Plan to go back June 2011. We will cruise again.

Entertainment & Activities Would have like to had a night of dancing with the hubby (slow) not enough of the adult country music at all. Rock and Roll stuff.

Fun Birthday Cruise by

The service and food were exceptional. We had 3 children with us and Camp Carnival was just spectacular for them. We met so many new friends from all over the US.
Cons:
The only problem we had was the shift change at the water park. The staff member minding the water slide was very leinient about letting our 4 year old ride the big slide. But when the shift change came the next staff member wouldn't let him go because he was an inch too short. Not a good thing,
We recently sailed with the Carnival Fascination out of Jacksonville on a 5 day cruise to Key West and the Bahamas. It was a birthday cruise for my 30 year old daughter. There were 5 adults and 3 children. It was a wonderful time and the Fascination is a beautiful ship. The staff members were so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I can't say enough about Camp Carnival for the children. They literally did not want to leave!! The food was excellant and everywhere all the time. It was a VERY memorable and fund vacation for my family and my daughter's first cruise.

Key West, Florida Mile marker zereo, southern most point of the US...for pictures. The Keno factory for the best made sandals is a must and if you are a parrot head, Margaritaville!! Irish Kevin's on Duval Street was a blast.
Nassau, Bahamas We did the Atlantis water park and Dolphin Cay experience. My daughter and grand daughter did the shallow water swim with the Dolphins. Absolutely beautiful place!!
Don't Miss: Atlantis, Dolpin Cay, aquarium....a MUST. We also visited the straw market at the dock.

Sailing date: Apr 2010 The ship earns it' name the Fun Ship. You are waited on hand and foot and even though there were 2,499 other people on the ship; I was to made to feel like my family and I are their top priority.

Great Family Vacation. I would recommend this ship to everyone with children. We had a great time. I would like to thank the Captain Antonino Allegretti, He was most gracious to wait on our family in Key West Fla. With that said I would recommend you to book your excursions early as they were all booked. If you do book outside of the ship it may save you a few dollars but good luck and make sure your on time or you may come back to an empty dock. The Late dining did us well. It gave us enough time to do the activities we wanted and then settle down for dinner as a family and not feel rushed, The staff at Imagination is great, Dorina, is the best! She connected with the kids and really went the extra mile to make it a great dinning experience. The seating arrangements were great, we had the opportunity to sit with a family who had children in the same age groups. Great people! The staff at kid carnival are great, Our 10 year old was weary of being "baby sat" but after there she did not want to leave. The water park at Atlantis is wonderful if you have children I would highly recommend that trip GREAT!

Entertainment & Activities I would have loved to had some kid/family activities by the pool that would have been lots of fun as the kids seem to really come out of they're shells.
Children's Programs Great program for the 6 and 10 year old children but the teenage boys found the club 02 a little boring but they are sports geared maybe having some sort of sports section would help the boy, They really loved hanging out with new friends.

I loved the on ship shows and Club 88 with Lorraine, she was an awesome host.
Cons:
Both the ports were very generic. Not much to see at either port other than the Markets and Atlantis. I have been to ports extremely better than these two.
The ship was large, clean, and I was very pleased with the employees.

We had a great time! Would recommend this cruise to families with kids 9 and up! Was hesitant to book because of Carnivals past reputation, but they did a great job!!! Never a dull moment and there was something for everyone to do. Plenty of food on the trip although it was mediocre at best. The kids didn't care so much about that, they had lots of fun! Loved the minature golf and ping pong tables. We were lucky to have great weather and really flat oceans the entire 5 day trip! The staff was experienced and friendly/helpful. We did some activities with kids and some without--there was something for all occasions. The cruise staff for photos was attentive to detail and easy to work with. Cabins were clean and neat. Although I know this was an older ship, couldn't tell at all! I was very pleasantly surprised at the refurbishment and how nicely it updated the ship. For the value, this was a fantastic get-away. Don't expect luxury liner style, but this was comfortable and VERY fun! The gym and spa were state of the art and the trainer was very helpful in giving my 13 year old son and I some instruction on weight mechanics and nutrition tips. The shore excursions were typical for the Bahamas area. I recommend the Atlantis aquapark WITH the meal vouchers since a burger, fries, and drink will cost you more than a dinner out for two. We also loved the stingray snorkel on the private island. The private island was our favorite day and the water was so perfect. GREAT cruise get-away and had fun! The house of mouse boat (been on it 4x)was great when the kids were younger, but this was much more fun for our 10 and 13 year old. The food was just 'o.k.' but I was glad I didn't have to cook for 5 days, clean up, or do the dishes!

Nice time but would love to see less kids, or at least a pool that adults can use. In addition, a nice place to slow dance with the husband would be great and was missed sorely
